The Fool

In youth, the young
disregarding, indifferent
they say they don't care
heaven, hell, God, no God, any god
it makes no difference

the dead will know the truth
though in youth gave no thought
yet now know the existence of
Alpha, Omega, Beginning, End

trembling, yet defiant
embracing, the eternal fiery flames
because they said, "There is no God."
